We started The Brand Mill with a simple belief: great clothes deserve to be worn, and meaningful change can begin with a small business.

Behind every garment are someone’s skills, time and care, along with the materials, water and energy used to make it. Yet brand-new clothes can be left unsold because of excess stock, cancelled orders or changing seasons. We see their value and a chance to give them a new destination.

1,500 garments given a second chance. An estimated 6.3 tonnes of CO₂e avoided. By helping brand-new surplus find a home, we work towards less textile waste and a more thoughtful approach to fashion.

Our purpose also includes people. We have created employment opportunities for women and college students, giving them hands-on experience with our business and helping them understand the importance of sustainability in everyday choices.

We are building with a vision: quality fashion that is affordable, resources that are respected, and communities that share in the opportunity. From our pop-ups in Ajax, Markham and Oakville to our next chapter online, we are growing one garment and one connection at a time.
